Beavers

Beaver Scouts are young people usually aged between six and eight years old. They belong to the first and youngest section in the scouting family.

We have two active Beaver Colonies (Keeper’s and Powell’s) and we try to do as many different things as possible.  We do activities inside our regular meeting place, go on day visits, and even have occasional sleepovers!

We play games, do crafts, make new friends, explore the outdoors, create things and eventually when the Beavers become 8 years old, they move up to Cubs.

We urgently need new Beaver leaders, for Powell’s Colony in particular. If you think you could lend a hand, please have a look at our Leader Vacancy page or contact Bob Quance (Group Scout Leader).
